The Apothecary1 has a way of beckoning you deeper.
Of inviting you to wander.
Of showing you exactly what is needed.
Perhaps a glimmer catches your attention.
A closer look reveals a strange flower.
The tag reads… “For when you are ready for more”.
You are welcome to pick it up and read the letter within.
If you are here then we trust that you know the dull thrum of longing.
The ache that is hard to place and yet, ever present.
It is born of a wanting to claim yourself as the being of wonder and magic that you are.
This ache is the keeper of the gate.
It is the answer to the wish.
It is the map to your treasure.
Within the box is the Flower of the Forest.
It grows only in places we find when we are lost.
At the very center of the flower, a mirror appears.
Oh, it is tiny…but it is enough.
Hold the flower.
Find your eye in its reflective nature.
Gaze at yourself.
Read the incantation.
Then, again, find yourself within the flower.
Know that you are more of yourself than ever before.
{incantation}
With your breath you call forward the wild bounty of your being.
It is time to shed the bindings disguised as “good”.
As “polite”.
When truly they are only meant to keep you smaller than your truth.
Let it all fall away so that you may find yourSelf.
Over and over.
Exactly as you are.
Full.
Fiery.
Soft and wild.
Feel your breath.
Your hips.
Your being.
Take this moment.
Your moment.
To claim.
What has always been.
You.
With love and fire~
Jo Anna

Behind the Curtains...
Behind the curtains, where only I usually dwell, I had been sitting with purpose. I had been wondering what purpose my words serve. What purpose my work serves. As well as my creations in all their various forms. There had been no despair in this inquiry.
Oh, my! It is always amazing to me how the moment I choose to read your work is the moment I needed it the most! Sometimes I read immediately and others it may take a few days. ❤️🔥
This was fiery and calming at the same time. Just beautiful, Jo Anna. And helpful to me.
