The Siren of the Summer Seas

She sings to you...

The Siren of the Summer Seas.
Asks for you.
To breathe.
And lean back.
Into the watery wonders.
Of her bountiful ways.
As time has come.
To remember.
Who you are.
Against the ebbing mystery.
One that is a revelation.
By its very nature.

She sings you to the spacious.
Expanse.
Of her being.
Here.
You cannot push your way through her waves.
Nor does she need you to.
She does not need anything in fact.
She simply is.
The space.
Where you no longer have to hold yourself together.
With strings of stories.
That are frayed and feared.
Long tethered.
To anchors.
That have forgotten who you are.

And what happens.
If you stop.
If you relinquish.
The fight.
To move towards.
Destinations far and fleeting.
Ones only found on a map of another's crafting.
What happens.
If you surrender.
The tension to the ocean.
If you stop.
Trying so hard.
To make a path.
And.
Instead.
Remember.

I do not know.
But the Siren does.
And she calls.
Wildly.
To you.
