Snail Mail
a break and a blessing
I have a little time off scheduled.
Two weeks.
Away from work.
Away from my business.
Time set aside for sinking into myself.
Time for reformation.
For reemergence.
I am very much looking forward to it.
Come this Friday, I will be stepping away from my email.
I won’t be writing.
I won’t be present here.
Though, you will receive an email or 2 from me.
Written now and scheduled ahead of time.
And…
I will be sending some snail mail to the paid subscribers of these emails.

I do have a vision.
A wanting that lives on the edge of need.
I want this time to be one of reformation.
Where I can come undone.
Let myself be held by the earth.
And then choose.
Who I am.
Who I am ready to be.
I want space to decide.
What shape I will take.
What path I will walk.
I want to submerge myself in possibility.
And reemerge.
More in the fullness of my being than ever before.
I have tried in vain.
To craft beautiful words of preparation.
What took shape.
Finally.
Is a small blessing.
One I hope, sings to you too.

Take off your coat.
And fear.
And rules about how it should all be done.
Lay back.
The darkness will not hurt you.
It is the rich wild from which we all rise.
You don’t have to know the way.
All you have to do is let the mystery hold you.
