The Library of Wonders and Curiosities sits at the edge of my drive.
Bright yellow and big for what it is, though small in actuality.
It does not have a light source.
I say this because on the night of the new moon past.
After crossing thresholds.
And letting the mystery swirl around me like the wind.
My library glowed.
A light shown through its window.
This library was a gift.
Built for me by my love, as he knew that I could make a project of it.
Upon its installation, I could feel the spark.
It was a portal.
To The Evers.
The Evers are as much my creation as it is something that has always been.
And will always be.
With or without me.
It is a world of myth.
Of wonder.
Of make believe made real.
It is the imaginary landscape of our being.
The one that exists just beyond our gaze.
As an Oracle, I bring the Evers into our world.
As me, I delight in the magic and the possibilities it brings.
What propelled me out into the darkness, was that I wanted to remember the magic.
The possibilities.
I wanted to remember who I was.
Because.
In the trying.
In the doing.
I had forgotten.
And just when I needed it, the mystery beckoned.
The night called.
Though I should have been afraid.
The possibility of finding.
Or remembering.
Was too great.
I ventured out.
Into the dark.
So few steps taken.
So many thresholds crossed.
And now a light emanated from within my little library.
I did not wait.
I rushed over to it and found a candle lit within.
And a small envelope with my secret name upon it.
Thunder rumbled just as I opened it.
A ticket and a note fell out.
The wild comes from the wilderness.
Comes from the vines and the mud and paths grown over but aching to be seen.
You do not need permission to return.
As there is no leaving the truth.
But sometimes.
We need to be shown the way.
When that is so.
There is always a key.
Always ticket.
Always a spark.
For you.
If you are daring enough to follow it.
For now.
Return to what is known.
Keep this ticket close.
A door may be opening sooner than you think.
I listened.
I went back into my house.
Climbed into my bed.
And rested.
Knowing more is on its way.
With love and fire~
