Illuminations of the moon

The full moon clearing was intense.
Layers fell away.
Fears and truths were unearthed.
Themes of trust and responsibility were woven through the experience.
We were asked, over and over, to do the work.
To not wait for it to happen to us.
And still, to recognize the way that the world shapes us.

Take time today to find the roar in the center of your chest.
Even the cleaning of your jaw will not hold it back.
The path is clear.
The fire awaits.
Life is yours for the creating.

I wrote this yesterday and then forgot to share it.
It feels appropriate to bring forward today though.
Considering it a blessing for illumination of this moon.

May the full moon break us.
From the fears that unfurl like tentacles grasping on to everything.
Anything.
That we think could protect us from life.
May the light burn through the lies and the gates and the walls.
So that we finally soften.
Into the truths we espouse but refuse to live.
