There is the writing that I do.
And then there is the world underneath that.
Around it.
I want to be able to share both.
I want to tell you stories and pull you in.
And I want to share what I am doing.
Why I am doing it.

Sometimes.
Whenever I want.
I will send out a “from behind the curtains” email.
To share with you a little more.

I believe that there is magic to be found.
Healing to be had.
A becoming to happen.
Within the realm of story.
Not just listening and letting it wash over you.
But story as an immersive experience.
Of make believe made real.

I see what happens.
When I create a Quest.
When people allow themselves to be called in.
Deeply.
To a world of my creation.
Of our creation.

In The Evers, as I refer to it.
They let the resistance melt.
The voice of knowing rises.
They trust themselves.

And as we journey to the deep.
Untangle the knots.
Find the clues.
Within the experience.
We do so in our worlds outside of the Quest too.
Because that is how the magic works.

When we were kids.
We played.
We stepped into a landscape that became real with our touch.
We traveled to worlds magic and hidden.
We found the treasure.
We slayed the dragons.
Those acts held meaning.
In the moment.
And in the rest of our life too.

One day.
We stopped.
We became to too old.
Too cool.
Too far from an opportunity.

And yet.
Maybe.
Like me.
You to have the worlds of the books.
With their magic and wild.
To meet me when I opened the door.

That is why I do this work.
The work I am stepping deeper into.
The work of immersive experiences that change us.
That work that you have and will see unfold in these emails.
