There will be a storm.
It will crawl over the horizon.
And roar its way towards you.
There is no path that will keep you from its might.
Nor does there need to be.
You can run.
As perhaps you have been taught.
You can weave a shelter over your head.
Or hide in the bright temple of your mind.
And wonder when the change is to come.
But.
Those are not the only choices you can make.
You can place yourself on the earth.
Lean into the wild that will hold you.
Without care or reason.
You can let the rain.
Find the parts of your skin.
That have been pulled so tightly.
Against life.
As if it could.
By the sheer will of tension.
Keep the mystery at bay.
You can let the thunder.
Rise up your spine.
Shaking free.
The shrouds of protection.
That made peace an absence of it All.
Rather than a rapture.
Most luscious.
You can let the wind.
Caress you.
Let the lightning illuminate you.
Let the chaos sing you deep.
You can let yourself yourself emerge.
From the tempest.
Who has offered you.
Her breath.
Her heart.
Her light.
You can let yourself emerge.
From the labyrinth.
And meet the world.
Anew.
You can let the storm.
Be the magic.
You have asked for it to be.
So that you can become.
Who you have waited to be.
On Friday night, I lay in the dark of the night.
And held each person who asked.
With the mystery fully in its wild.
I worked a clearing.
That offered themes of emergence.
Over and over again.
I witnessed each person.
Emerge from the fire.
The fog.
The bud.
I offer the above invocation.
In service to all of our the ongoing clearing.
Embrace.
And unfolding.
I have made my teeny tiny podcast, Sparks of Wonder, available on most podcast platforms (like Spotify and Apple Podcasts). That away you can subscribe and receive it right on your devices with greater ease. All you have to do is search for “Sparks of Wonder”. If it’s not there yet, it will be soon!
It will continue to be available on Substack. I will no longer be sending out an email with each new episode. I will place reminders in my regular emails that I send.
A new episode is available right now. In the future, they will be coming out each Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
In darkness and density…
With love and fire~
