The Apothecary1 has what you seek.
Even when you aren’t quite sure what it is that you are looking for.
On the table, in the corner, you’ll find a beautifully adorned cigar box.
Upon it, an envelope reads:
“for when you believe the lies”.
Read the note enclosed.
See what it has for you…
Sometimes we wake in the middle of the night.
In the middle of our lives.
And realize that something has been taken from us.
That it has been gone for quite a while.
Once upon a time, there was truth that rested with ease on our breath.
And then it was gone.
Perhaps it was taken in one fell swoop.
Perhaps it was thieved little by little.
And in its place…a changeling.
A lie woven in so seamlessly to the very fabric of who we know ourselves to be, that we have almost no choice but to believe it as the truth.
And for many moons and just as many tides…we do.
We build our life upon this lie.
Spending each day pretending that we are somehow less than the brilliance of our birthright.
And even when the deepest voice knows something is not right.
We assume, of course, that it is us who is at fault rather than the wiley little creature who took the truth from us.
All the while, the truth lives just beyond our grasp.
It dances as a glimmer over the hillside.
Trying, in vain, to catch our attention.
Hoping that if we could see then we could know.
And if we could know, we could call it back home.
If only it were so easy.
Perhaps it could be.
I wish I could tell you why these thieves of truths take what they do.
They are so cunning that they are rarely caught.
And when they are, they most often vanish in the blink of an eye, leaving you to wonder if you ever saw them to begin with.
Explaining exactly what it is they take is also no easy task.
I think that is because the truth feels different to each of us.
It is easier to tell you the lies they leave behind.
Lies of too muchness, not enoughness.
Lies of belonging.
Lies of worthiness.
Perhaps you know these lies.
And perhaps you are wondering what can be done.
Please take a peek into the cigar box you find in front of you.
There is a tapestry woven from the moments of all of existence.
It is never ending and endlessly changing.
Every breath of every being ever is entwined in this form.
We have in our possession a sliver of this tapestry.
But even with the tiniest of pieces, great changes can be made.
Upon the white threads, you are invited to write down the lies that have been given to you…the ones that you believe about yourself…the ones that live so close to your skin you forget that they are not truly a part of you.
The ones that are most common for people are:
That you are too much (which is the same as believing you are not enough).
That you are not worthy.
That you do not belong.
If these are true to you, write them down.
And write down anything else that is appropriate for you.
If you do not believe these to be lies, we ask for you to trust us. The revelation often comes upon completion. A leap of faith may be required.
Once you are complete in the writing, we invite you to pull, carefully, the white threads that you have written upon.
Once they are unwoven from the tapestry, take a moment to gaze at them.
Read the incantation below.
{incantation}
How do we become who we are?
We unwind the barbed wire stories that have taken root in the world between our hips.
We unravel the shroud that has draped us in illusions of enoughness.
We burn the tethers that honor the ways of acid and shame.
We betray the vows that have kept us molded to a form too tight for our Truth.
We become by coming undone.
By daring to strip bare in the light of the All.
We let go of who we are not.
And become by allowing for a reclamation.
Of a rooted wild.
Woven of fire and brilliance and an expanse beyond what we know.
We become by summoning a reformation.
Where we bring ourSelf back to a home we have never been to before.
We become by willing ourSelf to be as we are.
In the grand what is that always awaits.
When you feel complete, dispose of the threads however you see fit.
With love and fire~
Jo Anna
